RISE is an accelerated interdisciplinary programme led by SPRITE+ and VAWG experts at the University of Manchester, funded via UKRI’s R&D Missions Accelerator Programme.
SALIENT is pleased to share that RISE is offering grant funding for up to ten short projects running between April and August 2026. These projects will focus on addressing the Safer Streets VAWG Problem Statement and will contribute to the wider mission of reducing violence against women and girls through evidence, innovation and collaboration.
Applications
RISE would very much welcome applications from researchers and teams working in VAWG across academia, policing, industry, the third sector and other relevant fields. Please note that only academics or researchers from institutions eligible for UKRI funding can apply to lead or co-lead a project, however project teams can also include funded or in-kind support from charities, research groups, industry etc.
