The team behind our Salient project on subsea infrastructure security have recently published a pilot podcast episode, exploring the unseen arteries of the global economy.

Hosted by project Principal Investigator Dr James A. Malcolm, in the podcast James is joined by Dr Robert McCabe, expert in Maritime Security from the Centre for Peace and Security and Dr Anna Butchart, a former UK civil servant, national security expert and now independent consultant with extensive experience of subsea infrastructure security.

They discuss a range of topics including the threats facing subsea infrastructure, the potential impacts of disruptions, and whether government and industry are doing enough to protect this valuable infrastructure. This podcast is a great introduction to some of the key issues impacting the security and resilience of this critical infrastructure.
